7 days / 6 nights Day 1 : Place of origin – Andorra Breakfast, walking tour of the village of Ordino and its surroundings, the museum Casa Plandolit « Museum of Traditions », or the Postal Museum. Back to the hotel for lunch. Afternoon: departure to the capital of the principality: Andorra la Vella. Tour guide, visit to the Andorran Parliament « one of the oldest parliaments in Europe ». Walking through the old streets of the capital, free time for shopping. Back to the hotel for dinner.
Day 3 : Os de Civis – Col de la BotellaAfter breakfast, departure to Os de Civis, typical mountain village which is reached through the spectacular "Gorges d'Os". Tasting of local products: wild boar ham, country sausage, liqueur of love...etc. Back to the hotel for lunch. Afternoon: departure towards Pal, driving through the village of La Massana, capital of the parish, arriving at the medieval village of Pal, rise and superb views over the ski resort Pal-Arinsal. The Col de la Botella at 1950 meters altitude, the scenic route, a magnificent view of the main peaks of the Principality and the Valle of Séturia. Back to the hotel for dinner.
Day 4 : La Seu d’Urgell ( Tuesdays and Saturdays) – Meritxell Sanctuary. Departure after breakfast to visit the Spanish town of La Seu d’Urgell, where we visit the cathedral of the XII century and then walking through the old medieval streets to the regional market. Free time. Back to the hotel for lunch. Afternoon: departure to visit the Meritxell Sanctuary, beautiful construction of the famous catalan architect Ricardo Bofill. Return via the town of Encamp, visit to the Automobile Museum. Back to the hotel for dinner.
Day 5 : One day excursion. Montserrat (Barcelone) with pic nic for lunch. Day 6 :Serrat Valley – Engolaster Lake After breakfast, departure to the Serrat Valley, beautiful mountain scenery. We will discover the natural Andorra heritage along the river and North Envalira until the ski resort Ordino-Arcalís. Back to the hotel for lunch. Afternoon: departure for a walk around the Engolaster Lake, one of the most beautiful lake in the Principality, stop at the Roman style chapel of St Miguel Engolasters and then direction the capital with a beautiful view of the main valley. Free time for last shopping. Back to the hotel for dinner and departure evening gala.
Day 7 : Arinsal – Place of origin. Departure to the origin place after breakfast. |
